Kırnı Chickens runs a fully integrated production system. The journey of every product on your table starts at our breeder farms and continues through the hatchery, broiler houses, feed mill and processing plant. Every one of these stages takes place in our own facilities, with the same care.
1. Breeder farms: where the journey begins
It all starts with eggs from our Ross 308 breeder flocks, the most respected breed in the industry. Our breeder facility can produce 3,000,000 hatching eggs a month.
2. Hatchery: an antibiotic-free start
Our chicks hatch at the Yılmazköy hatchery, run by a professional team with the latest technology. The eggs are kept in ideal conditions, and no antibiotics or other foreign substances are used at any point. The hatchery can produce 1,000,000 chicks a month.
3. Feed: plant-based, from our own mill
Our chickens are fed plant-based feed made in our own feed mill. The feed is produced by an automated, hands-free system, and our R&D work keeps the rations balanced.
4. Broiler houses: everything monitored
In our broiler houses, feed and water, air, humidity and lighting are monitored automatically and followed by our agricultural engineers. Strict biosecurity keeps the chickens in hygienic conditions. Our broiler farm raises up to 1,000,000 chickens a month.
5. Processing: hands-free
Chickens arriving at our processing plant are approved by veterinarians and food engineers, then prepared whole or in portions and packed without being touched by hand. All production follows ISO 9001 standards and HACCP principles.
6. To your table
Packed products travel in refrigerated vehicles to keep them fresh all the way to the shops. Our facilities, audited by Ross Aviagen experts, received the ROSS145 and ROSS400 quality awards in 2017 and 2018.
